Scams take billions of dollars from Americans every year, and they're getting more convincing. We write plain-English guides to spotting them early, protecting your accounts, and acting fast if something goes wrong.
What we do
We publish scam and fraud guides, a scam red-flag checker, a guide to where to report a scam, the Scam Safety checklist and a free printable Scam Defense Workbook. We send Red Flag Report to people who sign up for it, and we're preparing the Family Safety Plan, a paid printable kit.
What we don't do
- We aren't a government agency, law firm or money recovery service.
- We never contact people offering to recover lost money; anyone who does is likely running a second scam.
- We don't sell security software or earn affiliate fees.
- We never sell or share your email address.
